Material used: Oil painting on canvas of 41x66cm thickness 6.3 cm, gold and silver powders, plaster, materic / structuring pastes, resin-based paints. Frame made with Japanese Paulownia wood, known as kiri, also called " tree of the princess "sacred wood, symbol of good luck. The finish is made with Italian paints, the color has been achieved through copper shades, the porous effect reminiscent of a worn metal is remarkable; the frame band measures about 10 cm, the frame size about 57x82.5 cm
Inspiration behind the work: The `` trees of the sea '' or corals and all the wonderful world that surrounds them
Characteristics of the work: Corals in relief embellished by the use of gold, silver and iridescent powders.A marine fauna, made with simplified lines, modern accentuated by well-calibrated shaded colors reminiscent of jewels.The sea is warm,tropical with turquoises and greens that play with multiple shades of blue. The sense of depth and realism is accentuated by the processing of both sides of the canvas.
Comments of the artist: Several colorful creatures, similar to jewels and dynamic environmental elements are hidden under the sea, in an elegant representation.This work is dedicated to them, a relaxing and hypnotic corner of underwater nature
