On Tuesday 20 April 2021, the Artists 2021 yearbook will be presented to the Chamber of Deputies, now in its third edition and with a consolidated structure. Artists 2021 is an encyclopedic volume, edited by the most important and prestigious art experts, an amazing tome enriched with large color images and historical and critical texts on everything there is to know about contemporary artists and artists. We could define it as a repertoire of information for collectors, amateurs, scholars and operators in the sector, also designed for museums, galleries and auction houses, all printed on fine paper. The editorial manager of this opus magnum is Sandro Serradifalco, who wanted to give concrete form to his conviction regarding the need to have a cultural and editorial product that would favor the reasoned comparison between the great stylistic legacies of the past and the most current expressive trends. Distributed by Mondadori, Artisti 2021 presents over five hundred international artists, five hundred artists who paint and sculpt our lives, we could say, with the usual historical insights (big names in the sector, from Angelo Crespi to Luca Beatrice to Vittorio Sgarbi passing through a contribution from the late Philippe Daverio). The contents of the Yearbook range from the visual tradition, both historical and contemporary, to a large section dedicated to the art market with the relative prices, auction awards and recommendations by the curators, with a section of biographical portraits of the artists treated, contents that make the editorial work a source of ideas and information not only for collectors and scholars, but also for art lovers and the curious, as well as for museum staff, gallery owners and managers of auction houses. Artisti 2021 is therefore a scientific catalog of contemporary works of art, a unique project that gives prestige and visibility in a unique location in the publishing market. Copies of the Yearbook are customarily given homage to Italian and foreign public galleries, libraries and major Italian museums.
