Material used: Oil painting on canvas of 72x40cm thickness 6.3 cm, gold, silver, plaster, material / structuring pastes resin-based paints. Frame made with the japanese Paulownia tree, known as kiri, also called "tree of princess "sacred wood, symbol of good luck. The finish is made with italian paints, the color has been created following different shades: bronze, tobacco and copper, the reliefs that remind of the rocks done manually; the frame band measures about 10 cm, the frame size about 88x57 cm
Inspiration behind the work: The olive tree sacred to many cultures, a symbol of peace, growth and victory, childhood memories
Characteristics of the work: Five olive trees whose branches loaded with ripe olives symbolize wealth and evolution, the use of gold and various precious iridescents refer to prosperity and the bond with the sun; the palette recalls a saturated metal surface and highly reflective
Artist's comments: The olive trees are an indelible and persistent figure in my memory.In this work made with transparent shapes, you can see through them and glimpse an infinite splendor of light and shadows, where the fruits resemble precious stones, the robust and imposing forms to a safe haven.
