Inspiration behind the Opera: The expansion of gravitational waves in space and the goddess Venus

Characteristics of the work: Shades of blue and gold reliefs that recall the expansion of water and the universe, a gradual and enveloping palette, a sparkling butterfly on the side, bridge of the human soul with the perfection of creation.

Comments from the artist: The eye of the rose is inspired by that of Venus born in the waters of Portovenere, and as the goddess in her perfection, when she is born, ripples the waters, so the gravitational waves expand in space.The blue rose represents the uniqueness is the unattainable perfection, the absolute knowledge always sought by man.This work traveled between the gravitational observatory Virgo in Pisa and the whole Gulf of La Spezia poets, it represents a bridge between past and future, as the ancient masters painted the perfection of a goddess born in a human body, today we sing the breath of the universe, the gravitational waves.
