The finish was done with Italian paints and the colors were created in shades of aged steel; the frame band measures about 8cm, the sash size about 59x59cm
Artist's comments: This work is dedicated to cherry blossoms, which in Japanese culture represent the transience of life but also the rebirth in an endless cycle.
