Material used: Oil painting on canvas of 20x25x6.3cm, plaster, oil paint and 24K gold sheets, material / structuring pastes, resin-based paints.Frame made with the Japanese Paulownia tree, known as kiri, also called "princess tree" sacred wood, symbol of good luck. The finish is made with Italian paints, the color was created following different shades of gold, the reliefs that resemble the skin of a reptile performed manually; the frame band measures about 8 cm, the frame size about 32x37 cm
Inspiration behind the work: Ryujin, dragon king and sea lord belonging to Japanese mythology
Characteristics of the work: The colors are gold, fuchsia, orange and its shades, the tone is luminous, a feeling of warmth, energy and majesty dominates; the front part of the composition enjoys irregular realistic reliefs, the sides they are characterized by darker greenish colors reminiscent of the belly of the dragon. As a whole they communicate an image of strength and splendor accentuated by a frame made with reliefs that recall the skin of a reptile.
